Going into the movie, I didn’t understand why people didn’t like it - but now I do. It’s a continuation of a mentally ill man’s ‘performance’ in life, and we, the audience, weren’t ready to actually see the continued abuse of this man. We expected him to rise up, and become the Clown Prince of Crime. But that wasn’t this. We expected Harley Quinn to be his lover till the end. But that wasn’t this. The world abused this man till the day he died for media entertainment. He died for our entertainment, and we’re mad that that story is done. That’s life.
