The Substance 2024
Wonderful visuals and soundtrack, and as gross as the gore was, it felt right for the movie. I found myself laughing more than recoiling.
I will say, a lot of it was on the nose. They'd often reference things that happened 15 minutes ago as if the audience hadn't seen that context in hours.
I'd watch it again but only with friends so I get to see their reaction :)
