10/10 education, 8.5/10 entertainment. Watching a documentary after such a long time felt refreshing, especially one so poignant. The love, culture and expression of self was beautifully executed, intertwined with the struggles that real people faced. It was so sad to watch the Venus ending be tragic. One of my fav quotes of the movie: “If you shoot an arrow and it goes real high, hurray for you.”
