Not 100% successful as a proper slasher or a proper romcom, but it WAS entertaining, and it’s a good addition to the slim pickings of Valentine’s themed seasonal horror and (slightly) less slim pickings of romantic horror comedies. The chemistry between the two leads was definitely believable, which was crucial considering how much of the plot hinges on that chemistry. The murders were, pleasantly often, very gross. I had fun!
