  Definitely feels like more of an extension to the original rather than its own thing. It just doesn’t have the same impact or marquee songs that will stick with you, like How Far I’ll Go or You’re Welcome. With that being said, it’s still a really good family movie to watch with the kiddos. It’s cute, it has charm, and is an enjoyable watch that sets up for a potentially strong third entry.

  “Clark Griswald was a hero of mine.”

  …except Clark Griswald was a fictional character created for comedic purposes, who didn’t sue his own neighbors like a psychopath. This man is actually insane. This is new wave horror and it’s legitimately terrifying that this is a true story.

  
  Need to give credit to one of the neighbors for the best quote of the whole documentary:
  “How do you put a fart back in once it’s come out?”

  Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 2023

  Easily the most intense and emotional of its trilogy, but it could even stand on its own, it’s got it all. It’s clear James Gunn understands character development, and during this film, you find yourself connecting with and caring for each individual member of the team. A righteous soundtrack, a psychotic villain, and incredible action with a few laughs sprinkled throughout, it’s a damn good time at the theater. It’s safe to say this is the steak & potatoes we’ve been waiting for.
