  This felt very much like an attempt at "Dead poets society".
  For me it did not work that well.
  It felt quite manipulative, cheaply using stereotypes and tropes to get somewhat of an emotional response. Mental health, sexuality and social akwardness are played for laughs and are generally underdeveloped and thus disrespectful. Depression is used as a vehicle to connect characters without giving it any care or respect, as saying "look, both of these people have problems, pity them!".

  This was a fucking mess.
  I cannot believe this movie got made this way and its directed by Sofia Coppola?????
  How the fuck did we end up with this?

  This movie depicts a man who begins a relationship with a 15-year old, gets her into a world of stardom, heavy consumerism and drugs. He also cheats on her multiple times and is phsychologically and at times physically abusive.
