The Tree of Life 2011
Carried by amazing performances from Brad Pitt and Jessica Chastain, excellent music and visuals with gorgeous camerawork. A very meaningful core message and an intrinsic view on life expressed through family and growing up.
Extremely ambiguous, almost unnecessarily so with very uneeded sequences that add nothing to the narrative or themes, seemed to serve only and musical or visual flares which while nice to listen to and see, once again added nothing to my experience. Could have easily been a half hour shorter.
