I heard this movie was the gold standard of Christmas movies, and it absolutely lives up to my expectations.
Even though this movie is a product of it’s time it still is funny, uplifting, sad, and wholesome, with sprinkles of mischief and misogyny. But you know what, everything’s a product of it’s time.
Gorge Bailey is a pillar of his community, and runs a local financial institution that gives fair loans to hard working people to build homes and businesses.…

The Holdovers 2023
Great Christmas movie for those who haven’t seen it. On a first watch the plot isn’t entirely predictable as most Christmas movies are.
The characters in the story feel authentic. They all have their struggles, and even tho some of the characters make improvements the improvements feel realistic.
