The Miseducation of Cameron Post 2018
I am really passionate about this film, I think because there's a personal tie to Cam's experience. religious fervor can make you doubt your own sanity, and this is a beautiful depiction of vile and despicable people. I think this captures the allure of Christianity, while subtly displaying its underbelly.

I first saw this film when I was in college, at the IFC in New York with my ex and his friend. the takeaway then was that we did not like it. primarily, my problem with this film was the depiction of lesbian love in this stalker-like, longing kind of way.
