Frances Ha 2012
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Frances is like a child walking on water, unsure of the path she’s taking. There’s no solid ground beneath her feet, but at first, she doesn’t really care. However, over time, the places she steps begin to wet her. She tries to hold on to those around her, but they leave her behind. Even though she wants to cling to the dream job she loves, reality doesn’t allow it. Though she stumbles and is caught off guard when she falls into the water, in the end, we see her starting to transform into an adult, becoming Frances Ha. In time, she will become Frances Handley.
