Don't know how I haven't seen this movie from beginning to end until yesterday. This might be the best version of A Christmas Carol out there. Michael Caine is a great Scrooge but also love that my boy Gonzo gets so much screentime as Charles Dickens with Rizzo yucking it up along the way.

Eight Crazy Nights 2002
This movie doesn't deserve the high-quality animation. Jokes were too crude and gross. Sandler's leads were either too brash and mean with Davey or for Whitey well-meaning but way too annoying with his own good. Oh and sorry Rob Schneider this doesn't beat Home Alone 2 for Holiday films you're in. Bum Biddy was a bop though.

Dracula 1931
2nd Film of my Halloween Double Feature. After Enjoying Bela Lugosi's performance as Dracula from watching Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein, I wanted to see his original performance. Certainly an alluring but creepy performance. First 20 Minutes was the peak of the film but the rest of the movie was definitely solid. The low key reveal about Dracula's lack of a reflection was pretty sick.

French Connection II 1975
Came away liking this more than I thought. Ultimately the action wasn't as good as the second half of the original, but I found the story a little more easy to follow. Kinda liked the slice of life scene where Popeye is at a French bar. Original is a better film but II is still pretty good.
