This movie tries its damn hardest to entertain its audience and hey man it works; this is an extremely entertaining movie! There’s always a slight hint of hopelessness leading up to the last 20 minutes of the film but it’s always mixed with exciting filmmaking and performances. The cast in this film is just incredible.

The General 1926
What I loved so much about this movie was the grand scale of the civil war paired with the thrilling action and funny slapstick we expect from Buster Keaton. This movie is a cinematic treat, with tons of extras and nail biting stunts; all together mixed with extremely memorable visuals.

Yeah… it’s bad, like straight up awful. The only reason people like this movie is because it’s made by Pixar, other than that I genuinely don’t understand what there is to enjoy. Pixar movies are great when they take unrealistic situations and give them a human element to them that everyone can relate to. This movie chooses not to be relatable to everyone so I didn’t get a lot out of it. Yeah that’s just a personal problem I have…
