The intro was a little too long but overall a good time. Some creative action for sure. I wish modern movies were a little less sarcastic though

Planet of the Apes 1968
I had a reoccurring nightmare when I was a kid about washing up on the shores of an island of intelligent apes that were at war and 4 year old me was elected as the leader of the ape army. I did a bad job strategizing and got my entire ape army killed. This dream happened almost every night from the age of 4 to 5, and periodically returns throughout my life. SO I would say justifiably I have steered clear of this movie. This is way more fun than my dream was!
