Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021
I honestly was not looking forward to all three Spider-men in one movie because I thought it would prevent Peter from growing in meaningful ways. But then Goblin killed May and Peter must cope with his power and responsibility like every good spider should and then everyone forgets Peter and I cried and then good old Pete comes out of it as the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man I love. I absolutely adore how this movie ends and the state it leaves Peter in.

This movie is the embodiment of Americana. I mean, truly, is there anything more American than playing baseball under the fireworks on the fourth of July. The kids worship good old Babe Ruth, The Great Bambino, the greatest baseball payer ever who only played against other white people. They honor their heroes by chewing tobacco and vomiting all over strangers at the fair. Boys will be boys I guess! Real talk though that dog scared the shit out of me…
