Best movie ever I love it so much
Didn’t really know what I was getting into seeing this which made for a really uncomfortable theater experience as it became clear what the movie was about. A devastating and infuriating story that’s unfortunately pretty universal across cultures. The scene with all the aunts “comforting” Shula and Nsansa was sickening stuff. Family is the most important thing and you must never do anything to harm the family, and in return they will manipulate you and ruin your life and leave you to rot.
Obviously incredible. Very easily the best looking movie I’ve ever seen, there isn’t a single frame in 3+ hours that’s ugly or poorly arranged.
