  Such a fun watch. Great action, set pieces, and score. What a fantastic addition to a beloved franchise. Was a little hesitant since it wasn’t directed by Spielberg, but the director showed he could handle it. This was a fun blockbuster and that’s all it needed to be.

  This was a beautiful movie. I liked the compositions in this one, the way some of the shots were set up to help visually tell the story was great. Of course I only picked up on that because I was a little bored. Even though I was bored, I believe it was for a good reason.   This was an awesome movie. So much gore, lots of action, and great performances all around. The setting was a lot of fun and I really liked the set pieces. A nice blend of practical and cgi effects as well so that’s a plus.

  This is a fantastic addition to the evil dead universe. Super fun action, great gore, and good little jokes thrown throughout. It’s in a new setting than previous films but really makes it work and just as good as the others!! One of my fav horror movies this year so far.
