Nosferatu 2024
Okay star-studded and jam-packed with goodies. Emma Corrin in something she’s never played. Brilliant. Depp was otherworldly, there’s nothing more to say on her. Skarsgård was unrecognizable and yet so perfect for this role? Hoult was unbelievably haunting, yet dashing. Johnson; you know how they say some faces are just not period faces? This film was tragically beautiful. Sex and arousing love being used as an artistic drive for the plot was bold, yet punctuated perfectly.

Even gay and it was confusing. BUT, after a quick read on the author of the book it’s based on, I quickly understood. This movie wasn’t made for the regular eye and that’s apparent. I wish Starkey had more dialogue but maybe that’s the whole mystery behind him. Craig gives a standing-ovation-worthy performance in this. The ayahuasca dancing part of the movie was so eerie, yet captivating. The movie is good to watch with a glass of red wine solo on a Friday night. Light a candle and pray you can understand.
