84/100. It's a classic for a reason, with all of the formulas and tropes you would expect from a movie like this (because it created them!). Super nostalgic vibes the entire time; I am a sucker for when a small town rallies behind its high school sports team. I would absolutely run through a brick wall for Gene Hackman in this movie, but I can't shake the feeling that Dale Norman was absolutely bailed out by Jimmy Chitwood.

91/100. This movie was about as good as it could possibly be, and that’s a very good thing. So much fun, with crazy twists and turns all throughout. Honestly, best part about this movie is how tight it is at 90 minutes. There is never a wasted moment, and as contemporary movies balloon into becoming longer and longer, this was just so refreshing.

35/100. Wait, you're telling me this is supposed to be up for best picture? This is one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. Unintentional comedy is all over the place and, frankly, insulting to its viewers. I had to hold my girlfriend's eyes open like it was "A Clockwork Orange" in order to get her to continue watching the movie. Horrendous.

64/100. Was a little let down by this one after it was hyped to the moon. I know it was for kids but it's just a little too... clichéd? Fantastic animation and voice performances throughout, and definitely got me emotionally a few times, but it was so rushed you never really got to fall in love with any of the characters other than Raya. Moving on.
