  Time depicted as a truly stagnant construct when faced with a being like Anarene that unsuccessfully begs to avoid it. Cuts can mean six months gone by in the blink of an eye with the temporal gaps initially cued only through boarded up windows, graduation signs and makeshift eyepatches.
