the only flaw is that the opening sequence with the war against the Turks isn't it's own entire movie

Interview with the Vampire 1994
I can never stop thinking about the poor woman who gets turned into a vampire by child-vampire Kirsten Dunst to be her surrogate mother, then is immediately grabbed and tossed into an open-topped pit to be incinerated in the sun by a bunch of irritating French theatre vampires. There's something so amazingly tragic and funny about the implications of giving up your immortal soul and humanity for an eternity of carnal indulgence and power, only to get absolutely owned within hours of making the deal.
Every major act of this movie ends with Brad Pitt's character setting a huge mansion on fire and then skipping town
