cult classics, dad rock, and good ol' 70s films

Between its ranking on Letterboxd and my own personal interest in Mishima, I had very high expectations going into this film, and unfortunately it didn't meet them. It was good, very good (especially the ending), but not perfect. Still, I am going to revisit it again some time in the future, because inevitably I'll get more out of it on a second watch.
this would have been better if it was an actual 80s movie. the plot had some shakiness, as did some of the actors, but overall i really enjoyed it. very fun movie!
