It was never gonna stack up to the original but it was still darn good and darn enjoyable. Some characters and plot points felt underdeveloped or rushed but it was a nice homage and a solid sequel that we never really expected so I’m not gonna complain. Denzel was obviously fantastic. I didn’t LOVE Mescal but again, not really fair to put him against Crowe. Hearing the song at the end brought me all the way back emotionally to my first Gladiator watch, and I’m not ashamed of it!

The beginning with Benedict rounding up/threatening everyone is fabulous. Feel like this is the most goofy of the Ocean’s movies (complimentary) and it totally works. Music is also I think my favorite of the trilogy.
