I feel like an island when it comes to movies. So many of the great films of our time that my friends go ape over I feel are a decent bit of the time mid, sometimes good and sometimes great. I feel that this film is a great film but I’m not blown away when I watch it. It’s almost identical to the first film which is just as solid but I rank films off of enjoyment and not how…

Solid war film. I would like this film more if it didn’t feel so sterile, literally and figuratively. For a WW1 film, everything seems a little too clean and also the film just doesn’t stress me out even when the scenes are trying their best to do so. I don’t get the hype. Solid film but not one of the greatest films I’ve ever seen. Even with the vast and otherworldly visuals, Nolan still finds a way to bore me for half the film. The CGI looks great but with the many millions of dollars he had to make this movie, I would hope that he could afford good CGI. The plot is whatever. Imagine going into a blackhole only to have to push on some books to…

What a film! My favorite Spider-Man movie. For me it’s all about the visuals. The story is whatever the story is. With each movie they seem to glitch out the universe’s mainframe or something even more than last time but the first one is the one for me. Miles Morales is still plagued with the same unnecessary clumsiness that every Peter Parker seems to have but at least he’s hit puberty unlike Tom Holland. There’s also the “exaggerated black swagger” present in this film and any other movie made by white guys but it’s still not as bad as back-alley breakdancing parties in Coke commercials.
