  This quite literally wrecked me.

  So many thoughts; first of all this film looks amazing, I LOVE how heavily stylized the cinematography is, some shots looked straight out of a Makoto Shinkai flick. In fact, this whole thing felt like if Shinkai wrote and directed Your Lie In April.

  For a concept so overdone and cliche, especially in Japanese media, Drawing Closer, without spoilers all i can say is it blew everything else out the water.

  That was…rough.

  Pacing was all over the place, you can tell they had a fuckton of reshoots. Idk what happened to the acting but it felt like no one gave a single fuck what they were saying, probably a byproduct of the reshoots.

  Everything felt so incredibly dumbed down, despite what I feel could’ve been a such a rich story, almost could’ve been like another Winter Soldier but they backed out.

  CGI was a hot mess, nothing on the screen felt believable, even more so than recent Marvel flicks
