  An absolute spectacle of why practical effects will always hold superior over the usual route of producing a convoluted CGI mess most films take. 

  Truly enjoyed this one. Found myself getting giddy with excitement as scenes grew more intense to the point of being able to finally revel in the grandeur of seeing the xenomorph.

  Was told this movie was my first ever theatre trip (at 2 years old) and although I didn’t even make it past the lights out without crying, I like to think that was due to my incredible hindsight of knowing how terrifying that gecko man is and saving myself from the nightmares that would come of it.
