  I appreciate that this film tried to do something different with the way it presented a musical for film and Zoë Saldaña is great (that big number at the fundraiser was really good). I also enjoyed the scene where they somehow made loading up guns musical.

  Also Karla Sofia Gascón's collection of robes is glorious.

  But there's a lot about this that gave me the ick - like the reductive way that Emelia grew a conscience post-transition.

  I knew absolutely 0 of the Von Erich lore before watching this but hot damn did this make me wanna go away and learn it! Might give it a bit thought because yeah that was heavy.

  Stunning cinematography and excellent performances from the main cast. Zac Efron is a god dang beast and Jeremy Allan White, Lily James and Holt McCallany were all brilliant. The music was fantastic as well (love me some Rush).
