Gunars returns to Riga to look after his ill Father. Instead of documenting his prolonged stay, he creates a sarcastically fictionalised and hard-to-define personal rollercoaster film, constructed from home videos, reinvented moments, funny improvisations, bright memories, social media interventions, and occasional observational footage accompanied by a written monologue. Real-life situations blend into scripted scenes and wicked interpretations in this snappy comical family diary.

Since husband Ludwig is sitting shortly before the 20th wedding anniversary, a blond, very, very young girl at his side, and to his wife Jackie: "I'd like to make it easy for you, for example, I say, it's not up to you, there I am but I'm a bad liar."
