My favourite genre of man has to be the yearning kind.
The begining of the plot really resembled Pride and Prejudice with how the characters reacted to the other, and although I see many reviews that dislike this aspect, I can't help but really enjoy how the film appropriated parts of the novels plot.

All of the music in the film is so good. While I did grow up listening to the film soundtrack and therefore enjoy the film's version of the phantom, I think that his performance is only enhanced by the atmosphere.
Despite my own preferences, I completely understand why people say that the Phantoms actor isn't a great singer. While he has power there is the lack of technique that the phantom should have - being Christines singing teacher and all.
Overall enjoyable, but there are a few flaws within the pacing and creative decisions.
10/10 that was such a great movie.
There was a perfect mix of action, comedy and character writing.
The leads portrayed their characters in such a funny an interesting way that there film never felt slow at all.
Movie truely felt like a love letter towards those in the entertainment industry that don't get enough appreciation.
