    Let’s start with the positives, Aaron Taylor-Johnson proves once again that he can act, and Russell Crowe is fully committed, delivering a performance far better than this film deserves. Credit where it’s due, those two are the highlights.

    Unfortunately, that’s where the praise ends. Sony’s obsession with expanding its Spider-Verse continues to feel misguided and unnecessary.     Ralph Fiennes never disappoints, and Conclave is another testament to his mastery as an actor. Watching him work the screen as he navigates the pressure's of this secretive world of a Vatican conclave is nothing short of amazing!

    I’ll admit, I don’t know much about the inner workings of the Church, but that’s the best thing about this movie you don’t need to. The story is so well paced and a lot of plot twists.

    The trailer gave nothing away. I went in not knowing what to expect, and the movie rewarded me for it.

    The performances are great and the cast bring incredible depth to their characters. You can feel the weight of their struggles and the spark of their resilience in every scene.
