Presence totally surprised me. The trailers made it look like just another supernatural thriller, but it’s way deeper. The tension builds slowly, and the suspense is constant. It’s not about jump scares, but more about that nagging sense of unease. Shit.. I dont even know if I'd consider this a horror movie. The score has this eerie, old-school horror video game feel that kind of reminded me of the old Resident Evil games. Definitely recommend this if you're in the mood for a slow burn that dives into family dynamics while keeping you wondering what's gonna happen next.

The Substance 2024
Still not sure about how i feel about this. Great mix of satire, body horror, and dark/weird humor. It does a great job of poking fun at how ridiculous consumer culture has become. Definitely best to watch this in theaters. One minute the audience was grossed out, and the next, they were cracking up at how ridiculous everything had gotten. By the end... I was left wondering what fuck I had just watched!
