The Zone of Interest 2023
I don’t think I’ve seen a film like this. A film about how some of the most despicable acts ever committed by human beings can be seen as a normal occurrence. Genuinely one of the most unsettling non-horror films I’ve ever seen. Jonathan Glazer should be nominated for Best Director. It also has some incredible sound design. Should be in close contention alongside Oppenheimer for the Best Sound Design award.
