  Thankful that I'm actually pushing myself to watch older movies so that I get to see stuff like this which has barely aged a day.

  (Also I finally get what Jimmy was referencing in Better Call Saul I thought he was just taking the piss)

  My first David Lynch movie, definitely a lot going on which may be more of an acquired taste that I'm not yet appreciating. But nonetheless I'm still excited to get more into his filmography to see what else is out there.

  This movie still rips oh my god an absolute crime we most likely won't see a sequel to this with Karl Urban.

  A smart and stylish action flick with a lot going for it, always worth a rewatch everything few years when you start forgetting how good it is.

  In a perfect world this would have been a full blown wide release production, with the production value mirroring RvB in its heyday, spending weeks of episodes building up to a finale. Although we didn't get that, and although it has its flaws, it's something a lot of longtime fans might look back on with fondness over time.
