Thankful that I'm actually pushing myself to watch older movies so that I get to see stuff like this which has barely aged a day.
(Also I finally get what Jimmy was referencing in Better Call Saul I thought he was just taking the piss)
My first David Lynch movie, definitely a lot going on which may be more of an acquired taste that I'm not yet appreciating. But nonetheless I'm still excited to get more into his filmography to see what else is out there.
In a perfect world this would have been a full blown wide release production, with the production value mirroring RvB in its heyday, spending weeks of episodes building up to a finale. Although we didn't get that, and although it has its flaws, it's something a lot of longtime fans might look back on with fondness over time.
Being able to sign this series off with a love letter is more than most franchises get after all. This series has…
