Went in with high expectations, and while I wouldn’t say it surpassed them, it certainly met them. There is no doubt that writing and cinematography wise its an outstanding movie, but I felt that the “present-day” storyline with Oppenheimer’s indictment lost its momentum when the movie spent an hour and a half in the middle focusing on the actual atomic bomb.
