It was pretty good for what is was, but it kind of had all of this build up and tension to some sort of overarching message at the end of the movie, but it amounted to the message being… how religion can control you, and that Hugh Grant has made a weird small cult where he’s kidnapping women. The first like 50-75% of the movie is good and thought provoking, but once Sophie Thatcher’s character died the plot kinda is started to get lost.
Moral of the story: Don’t kill Sophie Thatcher.
