Forest of Bliss 1986
It is a beautiful Film with nostalgic undertones; when visiting Varanasi today, it's somewhat different. Gardner captures Varanasi's rhythms with a persistent pace. I enjoyed the film's long shots and the soundscape, which creates a contemplative, vivid portrayal of (daily) life.
