What a feast!! This movie is simply brilliant—a masterclass on artful, thoughtful, and engaging cinema. The characters balance such a human realness that is just perfectly exaggerated to feed into the uncanny energy of the world. I wish I had seen this movie earlier in my life.

One word to describe this movie: exhibitionist. Visually, the world is beautifully crafted in the square window of the screen, giving the whole film a sort of Instagram post feel. When the high saturation and stimulation wore off, the entire thing felt placid. Ultimately, I left witnessing a sexually repressed white man's power trip. I do appreciate the exploration Emerald Fennell took by leaning into the vulgarity and indulgence of it all (deep down, all women are sexually repressed men)…
