An all-time classic, and deservedly so.
Admittedly, I haven't seen other Jimmy Cagney performances, and he won an Oscar a year later for his role in the musical "Yankee Doodle Dandy," but his role in this movie appears to be his most iconic and the root of Jimmy Cagney impressions for decades later.
Directed by Michael Curtiz, who also directed "Casablanca" and after seeing these two films close to each other, I'm picking up a related theme of characters fighting…
