a satisfying ending that manages to tie up all the philosophical questions, loose plot threads, creates the grandest action set piece of the series, and ties up all the character arcs. it almost feels like it chickens out a little on by trying so hard to have a satisfying ending.
but with a show like this it’s really the journey that matters, and the build up was so ridiculously engrossing and the character writing so damn good that who cares about the last action set piece.
jean was my fav character from season 1 all the way to the end.
