  This movie was such a weird, entertaining delight. The animation was fun. The story may have traveled all over the place, but I feel like it was a cute ending. Probably wouldn’t watch it again, but that end credit song has me dancing.

  High school can be such a bitch. And so can The Heathers- the most popular girls in school. Then there’s Veronica. Sweet, quiet Veronica. Well, until she meets Jason Dean. They set out to strike back at those who reign in the high school.

  Talk about comfort movies. Winona Ryder and Christian Slater bring me back to simpler times. This movie will never fail to make me laugh. A great and horrific high school almost love story. If you haven’t seen Heathers, please step into 80s nostalgia and watch it. Heathers walked so Mean Girls could run- minus the violence.

  The Seasoning House 2012

  A deaf and mute girl gets taken by mysterious men, she is set with the task of taking care of the house. In a dirty brothel, she travels room to room to prepare the other girls for the seedy men that lurk through the front door and pay for a moment of pleasure.

  This was such a sad movie. Horrifying for sure, but just sad. This poor girl is just following the rules, going through her day to day like a zombie. Luckily, they don’t really show any sex, but the implication is absolutely gut wrenching. 3 stars for the massively fucked up subject matter.

  Okay, let me start off by saying I loved the first two in this Ti West trilogy. Pearl was my absolute favorite!
  I loved the atmosphere of MaXXXine. Everything felt grimy
  And seedy in all the right ways. Kevin Bacon was an absolutely gem of a man as always and Mia Goths performance was also incredible. 
  But, something felt very flat? Like I was sleeping through and then the movie ended. It never got my attention like the other two. So, not my favorite in the trilogy, but I won’t watch it outside of rewatching them all.
