Never seen any of these early superhero serials. Interesting to watch from a historical perspective and there are some decent explosions but it gets pretty repetitive after a while.
Also, kind of weird that this has zero connection to World War II, especially considering it was made while the war was still actually happening. This Captain America isn’t a soldier, has no shield, and doesn’t punch any Nazis. I feel like they missed out on a patriotic propaganda opportunity here.
