Unfortunately this movie, playing at volume 4 and positioned perfectly in my periphery, is the only thing that allows me to enter submission-reading flow state. It is impossibly bad—and yet very often my eyes will float over my laptop screen to catch Dan Levy saying or doing something so dumb that I can’t help but punch the volume higher and fully delight in it. I hate this movie so much and yet I am totally complicit in its continued existence. I feel similarly about David Dobrick, but I’ll save that for another Letterboxd entry.

The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) 2017
i wish to not enable mr baumbussy further but this was genuinely fire — my dad also didn’t fall asleep even though there were no car chase scenes or White House assassination attempts!
