The Good, the Bad and the Ugly 1966
This was mint. Didn't expect it to have so much proximity with anti-war sentiment - those moments in the story where we just pause to reflect the reality which surrounds the film’s context are so subtle but really impactful. The last 45-60 mins of this is ridiculous, the score is obviously iconic but I didn’t expect it to hit THAT well. Completely get the hype

One of the best portrayals of existentialism, guilt and individual struggle. Despite its focus on drug addiction, this tackles so many issues which are so human and relatable. Incredibly raw and technically brilliant - *café scene*. First Trier film done, can’t wait for him to tear me to pieces again.
