  Lowkey this movie is pretty unbearable w the References, I haven’t seen the second one but this is kinda as bad as I imagine that one will be. I am just so sick of hearing brands I recognize. Also such an overdone arc of characters falling out between the second and third act. But still, eh I mess with it

  pleasantly surprised by this. went in expecting mid city but it felt like an imperfect but very balls to the wall movie. Doesn’t feel like they skimped on anything in production, and while some of the effects felt like they purely existed as callbacks for millennials to point at and Notice, it was still a welcome surprise to see the makeup going all out. One part of the story involving Jenna’s boy toy felt super underdeveloped and wrapped way too…
