The Incredibles 2004

Top Gun: Maverick 2022
Having not seen the first Top Gun until a month ago, I got to experience this film nostalgia free.
It is, without question, one of the best sequels ever made. A little ridiculous at times? Yes. But frankly, the first movie was as well. The difference is that these jests aren’t miniature RC models.
Unlike most of the rehashed, cash-grabbing, hot trash that has been being ruining the impact of great movies from the past, this film would be good on it’s own. The Top Gun name doesn’t need to carry this film. It bears its own weight and shines through.
