I guess if I’m like any character in the film, it’s probably the tragically hunky bisexual lifeguard. Definitely not the repressed sourpuss writer who is more of a disposable personal assistant than artist in his own right. Never even heard of that kind of guy to be honest. Feels almost like this movie invented that guy it’s so foreign and unknown a concept to me.

Deeply moved by this. The examinations and reflections on the boundaries of activism are interesting but the film is truly alive when in Steffen Meyn’s hands (or, mostly, on his head). Which is an incredible achievement that the directors could give a feeling that he is the entire lifeforce of this film.
