and i think in someways thats kinda the point. the movies ends where you anticipate some sort of homosexual reckoning, but it never quite is realized. this is much like life itself, which can be snuffed out entirely, in untimely manners. death can arrive on the beautiful day, when you were least expecting it, fully illuminated by the sun.
