Shallow biopic with a really weird narrative choice. Great acting but besides the musical numbers it was pretty boring and low paced.

Well, he was a bit like (the worst parts of) Mr. Rochester after all!
I’m so glad I got to read Jane Eyre before watching this. I loved Jane so much and the same goes for Jenny: both are witty, strong willed, resilient, curious, amazing women.
Also, coming of age stories by women just hit different.

Great immersive experience into Diana’s conflicts, sorrows and loneliness.
It’s much less about specifics and historical accuracy than a well built atmosphere of the princess’ mind. Inviting the viewer to better understand her possible feelings during a difficult time in her life, the movie approaches less explored subjects for her, such as mental health (depression, eating disorders, body dysmorphia etc.).
Kristen Stewart has lived up to the hype. This is the best I’ve ever seen her and she gave a stellar performance in this role as Princess Diana.
