Wolf Man 2025
Some really good ideas on paper, and some of the tension and suspense is great, but the execution just isn’t there for the most part. The character arcs are super thin, the music is overbearing, and unlike The Invisible Man, which knew how to take full advantage of the premise of a person being invisible, Whannell somehow ends up downplaying a lot of the things that make the wolf man so terrifying. There are scary moments, but not enough of them, and they never feel fully explored.
