  I don't know what kind of crack they’re smoking at the writers table but they need to stop treating the audience like they can’t remember anything beyond 5 minutes and for saying out loud exactly what I’m seeing on the screen. A protection spell against evil you say? Oh no I wasn’t going to be able to understand that from Agatha drawing a very obvious circle with chalk and speaking her incantation oh no no no
