Many people have claimed that the documentary is vegan propaganda. Yes, the documentary clearly advocates for veganism, but it doesn't contain any false information. I don't understand why activities in such a positive realm are constantly labeled as propaganda. Many of the things mentioned are already well-known. Although the documentary doesn't introduce entirely new concepts, I appreciate its approach to experiments and discussing various aspects of nutrition. Additionally, even though the twin aspect is secondary, it convinced me to adopt a plant-based diet in my own nutrition.
We witness Onat Kutlar's contribution to Turkish cinema in the documentary. In Turkey, individuals striving to bring innovation, transcend national borders, and make efforts for change are often unfairly labeled against the culture and values. Onat Kutlar seems to have faced a similar labeling. In short, it was great to see the film club process and learn about the significant figures who supported it. The only regrettable aspect was the absence of women involved in the process, except for one.
